You Are More Than Your Day Job x MISEMI / January 29th March 2019

I created ‘You’re more than your day job’ after being surrounded by so many talented and hard working people. They not only work on their own projects, but also work part-time or full time along the side. It’s something I felt had to be talked about and celebrated. I’m excited about launching this and introducing members of the ATIKA team, their talents and side hustles. 

First up was our girl Missy! I first met Missy when she started off at ATIKA as a design intern with Mary in REMIX. I instantly loved her and shortly after, Missy ended up working with us as a part-time sales assistant whilst still focusing on her main project and side hustle, MISEMI. 

I asked Missy to rework a few pieces of our vintage and to incorporate her signature MISEMI designs. We then launched a giveaway over ATIKA’s socials and MISEMI’s to win the tracksuit reconstructed by Missy herself. You can view our interview, our shoot and BTS below!
