Safe House Ldn x Christmas Present Drive
Back in December 2019, I worked on and was part of Safe House Ldn’s 2nd Christmas Present Drive.
For this event, myself and the SH Team used our PR knowledge and gave a shoutout over socials to get in contact with communications companies, clothing labels, and the public to see if they had any unused and unwanted clothing & footwear, games, artwork, gift cards and toiletries that they could donate to our event.
Our goal was to enhance the gifting suite with selfless giving, making sure the festive holiday season was creating positive vibes for the youth in our community. Our youth had the chance to drop-in, collect a gift and have some Christmas chill time and most importantly, love.
We were overwhelmed and super thankful for the amount of gifts companies, local businesses and the general public donated. We also had a retro gaming set up on the day from Operation Collect which went down a treat with everyone who dropped in. You can check out what we got up to below! Images shot by Charlie Edwards.
